Good deal, consistent service

I ordered an Autel MaxiSYS MS906 Pro from Auto In The Box last month. This isn't my first purchase from them; I've gotten a few other diagnostic tools here over the past couple of years. Like before, the shipping was pretty quick, took about 4 days to get to my shop in Texas. The scanner arrived well-packed and was exactly as described. The price was competitive, especially with the discount they had running. It's good to know I can rely on them for genuine products and decent service every time.

Solid scanner, slow support response

I recently bought the Autel MaxiPRO MP808S from Auto In The Box. The scanner itself is great for the price, does everything I needed it to for basic diagnostics. It arrived in about a week which was decent. My only minor issue was when I had a question about software updates a few days after it arrived. I sent an email to customer service and it took almost two full business days to get a reply. The answer was helpful once it came, but the wait was a bit long. Overall, I'm happy with the product and the value, just wish support was a touch quicker.

Can I use more than one promo code at checkout? Got a Black Friday one and signed up for their newsletter, wondering if I can stack 'em.

S Sam Whitfield 2 months ago
Nah, just one code per order usually. Tried it myself last year and it only let me use one. Pick the best one!

O Omar Marsh 2 months ago
They only allow one coupon code. It's pretty standard for online stores, unfortunately.

Does Auto In The Box take PayPal or only credit cards? Just wondering about payment options.

G Greg 3 months ago
I used PayPal last time I ordered, so yeah, they do.

They accept a bunch of payment methods, including PayPal. I think they also do regular credit cards and maybe some other stuff too.

Hey, do they offer any kind of discount for actual mechanics or workshops? I'm looking to buy a few expensive units.

C Carly 3 months ago
I saw something about a professional mechanic discount on their site. You might have to apply for it or show proof though.

Yeah, they do offer professional mechanic discounts. Probably worth contacting their support about it before you buy anything big.

Is there a warranty on the scanners bought from here? What if something breaks after a few months?

C Cody Torres 3 months ago
Yep, all the tools come with a warranty. It's usually the manufacturer's warranty, so like for Autel or Launch. Check the product page for details.

My Autel came with the standard manufacturer warranty. They're an authorized dealer so you get the full warranty support through them or the manufacturer.

Anyone know how long shipping usually takes for a scanner to, like, Phoenix, AZ? Need it kinda quick for a project.

M Marcus V. 2 months ago
Mine took about 4-5 business days to get to me in Texas. It depends a bit on what you order but usually pretty quick.

B Beth Lindqvist 2 months ago
I ordered a smaller OBD2 scanner and it was at my door in California in 3 days. They ship pretty fast typically.

Comparing the Autel MaxiSYS MS906 Pro from here to ToolTopia. Is there any major difference, or is it just price? Are they global versions from Auto In The Box?

M Marcus Torres 3 months ago
The tools from Auto In The Box are usually global versions, not limited by region. That's a big plus compared to some other places.

T Todd Foster 2 months ago
I've found their prices to be competitive. And yeah, the tools are global, so no worries about IP locking like some other sellers have.

Hey, thinking about grabbing an Autel MaxiCOM MK808S from here. Are these tools legit or some grey market stuff? Don't want to get stuck with a fake.

T Troy Okafor 3 months ago
Yeah, they're authorized. I got my Launch X431 from them a few months back and it registered fine with Launch. No issues.

R Raj Romero 3 months ago
They explicitly state they're an authorized dealer for Autel and Launch. I think all the stuff they sell is genuine.

Thinking of getting the Autel MaxiIM IM608 II, but it's a big purchase. What's their return policy like if it doesn't work out?

J James B. 2 months ago
I had to return a TPMS tool once, and it was straightforward. Just make sure you follow their instructions, I think there's a timeframe you have to do it in.

B Beth Doyle 2 months ago
Returns were pretty easy for me. Got a refund without much hassle. Just read their policy on the site for the exact details, I can't remember all of it offhand.
